How do I deposit cash into my SportPesa account via a mobile phone?
Once you've completed your registration. To deposit money in your SportPesa account is easy, just follow these steps:
Step 1
Enter into your Mobile Money Menu on your phone and transfer Money using SportPesa PayBill referred to you by your mobile operator.
Step 2.
Your SportPesa account will automatically be credited and we will text you confirmation SMS:,

How can I deposit cash into my SportPesa account via the Cash desk?
To deposit simply go to our cash desk and pay-in. Your transaction should be processed immediately and you will see funds in your account. .
You're ready to bet.
As proof of your transaction, we will provide deposit slip signed by both parties.

How do I Place a bet?
On all football matches quoted on S-PESA's Game ID'S, you have an opportunity to predict the outcome of the game, there are 3 possible results in any game:
1. Home win (1)
2. Draw (X)
3. Away win (2)
How do I place a Single Bet?
Now you have set up your account and registered, it only leaves you to place your bet. You can bet via SMS and all you need to do is to follow these steps:
Step 1.
SMS to 79079 the Game ID, the team you predict to win in 90 min & the amount you wish to bet.
e.g. "8962#2#100" - where "8962" is the Game ID, "2" is the prediction ("1" means Home win,"X" means draw, and "2" means away from Home win) and "100" is the bet amount.
Step 2.
A bet is deemed to have been placed as soon as an SMS confirmation * of the acceptance of the betting offer is received from SportPesa. A customer will receive a confirmation SMS for his/her bet with possible win (The winnings are calculated by multiplying the odds by the stake.(e.g 2.36*100=236/=))
e.g. You've placed Kshs 100 on 2 in Crystal Palace - West Ham game. The odd is 2.36 Bet ID 8962 POSSIBLE WIN Kshs 236. Your S-PESA balance is: Kshs 38,093
If you placed a bet via sms,you will receive a confirmation message informing you of your placed bet.
Step 3.
So you have placed your bet and all you need do now is sit back and enjoy the game you have placed your bet on.
To cancel a single bet:
Send the word "Cancel" followed by "#" and the bet id received in the bet confirmation message to 79079

How do I place A Multi Bet ?
Now you have set up your account and registered, it only leaves you to place your bets. You can bet via SMS and all you need to do is follow the steps below:
Step 1.
SMS to 79079 the Game IDs , the teams you predict to win in 90 min & the amount you wish to bet.
e.g. "1234#2#4534#1#7180 #1#135" where 1234 is the Game ID,2 is the prediction,4534 is the Game ID, 1 is the prediction, 7180 is the Game ID, 1 is the prediction and 135 is the bet amount.
Step 2.
A bet is deemed to have been placed as soon as an SMS confirmation* of the acceptance of the betting offer is received from SportPesa. A customer will receive a confirmation SMS for his/her bet with the possible win (The winnings are calculated by multiplying the odds by the stake. (e.g 7.23*135=976)
e.g. You've placed Ksh 135 on Multi bet. The odd is 7.23 Bet ID 7687 POSSIBLE WIN Ksh976. Your S-PESA balance is: Ksh 37958
If you placed a bet via sms,you will receive a confirmation message informing you of your placed bet.
A bet will be qualified after the expiry of the first ten Minutes (10) within which a player may choose to cancel his/her bet. Once a bet is accepted, no cancellation is acceptable
Step 3.
So you have placed your bet and all you need to do now is sit back and enjoy the game you have placed your bet on.
To cancel a multi bet:
Send the word "cancel" followed by "#" and the Bet ID received in the bet confirmation message to 79079
You will receive a confirmation message:
How do I place Jackpot Bet ?
Step 1.
SMS to 79079 "JP" and the 13 predictions of the pre-determined games
Step 2.
Its format is: JP#1X22222XXXX11
Step 3.
You will receive a confirmation SMS for your bet with your possible Jackpot win.
NB 1:You area winner when all your 13 predictions match with the games outcomes. Jackpot is equally shared amongst all winners.

NB 2: One does not have to enter the stake since Jackpot amount by default is Kshs 100
